Futsal at the MWSF
Futsal is the longest running sport at the MWSF. In fact our team was one of the very first female futsal teams to be established in the UK!
We sent teams in 2001 & 2005 to represent Britain at the International Women’s Islamic Games and have been at the forefront in discussions with the English FA to better the facilities and opportunities for Muslim women to get into football. Our Foundation has also taken the lead in actively opposing the Hijab Ban imposed by IFAB.

Participation is restricted to Muslim women normally resident in the UK who will be aged at least 18 by 31st July 2009. No photographs will be taken while sports are being played. Only female referees and officials will be present at the Games

The MWSF reserves the right to change these terms without prior notification
